About Us

Hi. My name is Kristin Paplawskas. I am a proud mom of two who is turning a passion for baking and healthier choices into a dream. I started baking for my kids to be able to give them better quality treats and cleaner ingredients than you see in the junk in the grocery stores. I started experimenting with plant based colors like spirulina and beets. I started using fruits like strawberries and blueberries to add colors and flavors to my baked goods and the result was pure deliciousness. I  decided to open Better Choice Bakeshop so I could share my love for baking with my community. I know there are other families out there who feel the same when it comes to their kids health or even their own and are tired of putting all these unnecessary ingredients into our bodies. We specialize in treats baked from scratch in small batches. We only use real ingredients, no dyes, artificial sweeteners or bio-engineered products in our kitchen! We prioritize organic ingredients and clean labels.
